The MARAC QSO Parties, State QSO parties and other contests are a great way to collect counties for our awards. MARAC sponsors a yearly QSO party for both CW and SSB. New this year, both contests will be held on the same weekend. While each contest will be scored individually, you can still work both. Be the first to receive a 1st in your state certificate, for both the CW & SSB on the same day. Are you new to county hunting? These two contests are by far the best way to get started towards collecting the confirmations needed to obtain your USA-CA number. Working towards further MARAC sponsored awards? This is the one time of the year that you might find that rare county without waiting on a mobile to get there.
